How to Read Odds — Three Formats
The same price for the same match is written in three different ways.

Worked Example 1 — Team A, ৳500 bet
Team A's win price is 2.50 decimal, 3/2 fractional, +150 American — all three are the same price. On a ৳500 bet, if Team A wins the return is ৳1,250 (৳750 profit + ৳500 original stake). If Team A loses, the full ৳500 is gone.
Worked Example 2 — Team B (favourite), ৳500 bet
Team B's price is 1.80 decimal, 4/5 fractional, -125 American. American minus odds show how much you need to stake to make 100 in profit. On a ৳500 bet, if Team B wins the return is ৳900 (৳400 profit + ৳500 original stake).
Multi Bet Example — 3 selections, ৳100
Odds across three matches: 1.50 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 4.84 (rounded). On a ৳100 bet, if all win the return is ৳484. But if any one of the three loses, the full ৳100 is gone — multi bets carry higher risk.
Simple Rules for Reading Odds
- Decimal odds are the simplest — stake × odds = total return.
- Fractional odds show only the profit ratio on your original stake; the original stake must be added separately.
- American + odds mean that amount of profit on a 100 stake; - odds mean that amount staked to return 100 profit.
- The lower the odds, the more likely ok considers that outcome to be — so the profit is lower.
